Lord ByronEveryone in this community gets their fix in different forms. Some get it via Stud, some no-limit hold'em, some old school people still get their fix off of no fold'em hold'em. What ever your poison is I highly suggest your start to surf the blogs that people link up. In all seriousness, I think you can learn a lot from people in this community. I just have been amazed as of late at the things I have been reading and don't get all high-brow and think it is only the bloggers that have been around for a while that can teach you something. Serious, I have learned a lot from some new bloggers to the community. So start to dig or as us DJ's like to say, I'm digging in the crates today.
In closing, I suggest you stay away from the junkies who will play any game or prop bet. Yes, at the next blogger gathering you can find Ro-Sham-Bo for 100.00 no problem. I'm sure someone will even do a post on the strategy and mental toughness one has to have in ro-sham-bo and I suggest you read it because you will probably learn something from it.

Kicking It Old School
It has been a while and I have been working on my big announcement still. I think I have all the details tightend up and it should be ready for launch within a few days. Keep your eyes wide open because you will all want to jump on the boat.
In any case, as most of you know, I don't play online anymore because I just don't play well there. I'm more of a cash game live player. Doh, I spoke too soon because I got spanked this past weekend in A.C. What can I say, you raise, get a re-raise and four callers and you pop it again...guy re-pops and everyone calls. Wow! Of course this is what you want when you have Aces but you know it is going to get ugly...Nuff said. I don't want to pay anyone for a bad beat story. Oh, did I mention this was a 10/20 game. Doh!
I digress. As I was saying, I don't play online anymore esp. with blogger because lets face it, you are all B-List Bloggers and B-Level players. But I don't mind pimping some great tournaments that are happening in the community where one can really challenge their skillz.

2007 WSOP events. I was wondering if anyone was going to make this a personal challenge. I know there is a
Oakie that I would like to see play in at least one event. And if memory serves me correctly he was looking for a challenge for this coming year. How about getting that bankroll up for an event.

Rooster of the week
We have a New Rooster over to the right. Yep, we have another picture of the Grey Kelso Stag. A thing of beauty but a temper like no other. I wouldn't have this Rooster around as a pet. The can get a bit upset and dig their claws into you if they aren't held a lot as a baby. Just in their nature I suppose. Well enjoy him because I'm going to get back to switching them up over there.

Also, I can't forget my Mother and Father who have always supported my poker. They have never hidden the fact that their son loves to play cards and will hit the grimmy places his Dad use to hustle pool games for when I was a kid for extra cash. The Rooster would buy him into the Main Event...I heard nothing.
Sure it is a big bet on a QB that has never been in there before, but the truth is...that Mexicans like Tony Romo and The Rooster thrive under the spotlight. Since Brandon didn't take that bet I took it off the table.
I was willing to tone down the bet with Brandon. That if the Cowboys (America's Team) win that he brings that cute girl he was at the Super Bowl with to the next Vegas gathering. If the Cowboys lose (which they won't) that I would take him and said girl to In and Out Burger at the next Vegas gathering. The Rooster Crows...KawKaaaa!!
I then went over to the second CrapHawks fan I know,
Easycure. Yep, I put a 12-pack on the game. Still no response from Easycure so that bet will be off the table soon.
In closing, as you can see these CrapHawk fans have no faith in their team.
