These Folks Rock and Ask For Nothing In Return

Wow. There are times when I wonder how I got into this great group of folks. I find out cool stuff like my buddy Shep

is a professional cook. Then I see how good hearted everyone in the community is. Let me give you a run down of the top three that I can recall real quick.

1. The Littlest Guy in our community Iggy

puts up 200.00 bucks of his own money to send another blogger to the WSOP.

2. This guy Easycure

sets up a tournament to fight cancer which is awesome. Then these MOFO’s Pauly

and Frank

take first and second and then donate most of their winnings. 3. Then these two MOFO’s Bobby Bracelet

and Spaceman

take up the fight for a little girl whose mother passed away due to a rare cancer. And this lady took up on the tech work on the site: Shelly

You can donate here: ForPeyton

I am truly humbled by all the hard work and generosity you guys do on the side and ask for nothing in return. Thus, I wanted to tip my hat to all of you and the checks are in the mail today for all these causes. Continued success and I do send lots of good vibes to all you MOFO’s.

Hammer Out Cancer!!!

I wanted to send my congratulations out to Pauly and Derek who I knew would both make it to the final table….because that’s how the brothers from the Bronx roll. I hope everyone had a good time playing in the tournament…my final prediction is that Derek will catch StB because Derek is a Yankees fan and they never see past the pinstripes…oh, Milwaukee has pinstripes, too. Oh, but Milwaukee doesn’t have any championship rings…heehee! No, best of luck StB…you are on a roll.

Yes, I have closed down my blog for a while. But this is where I pimp other people and their events.

First, I wanted to pimp the fight against cancer tournament. Mr. Easycure is one of the nicest guys in bloggerville and just a class act (don’t hold it against him because his Seahawks blew chunks in the Super Bowl…cough!cough!) and has dedicated himself to ridding the world of cancer. We have all been affected by this disease and as we know it doesn’t discriminate on race, age, sex, or sexual orientation. With that being said, come joint the fun.

What: Hammer Out Cancer - WPBT-POY Circuit Event
(Tournament ID 3381723 under the Private section.)
When: April 16th - Sunday
Time: 9pm EST
Where: Full Tilt Poker
How Much: $10 + $16
($15 goes to American Cancer Society so buy-in is 25+1)
Password: dahammer
This will count towards WPBT-POY points!

The second thing I wanted to bring to your attention is a personal battle that Bobby Bracelet has taken up. Yes, the person who hates everything and everyone has taken up a cause for a friend who has passed and her still living daughter. Of course The Rooster gets all chocked up when writing about this stuff so I will just pass you along to his site and the story by clicking here and you can see where to donate here also: Bobby Bracelet

The 1st Annual Celebration of the Life of Natasha Novoa And The
Fight Against Small Cell Ovarian Cancer

Natasha Novoa was a 29 year old single mother of a beautiful 2 ½ year
old girl named Peyton and lived in Richmond Hill which is a suburb
just north of Toronto, Canada. She has a younger brother and sister,
Jesse and Noelle, and her parents are Jose and Laura. In December of
2005, Natasha was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of Small Cell
Ovarian Cancer and early hopes were that this disease could be controlled
with Radiation and Chemotherapy treatments.

What Is It?

On April 29, 2006 from 4pm until midnight we will gather at SoccerZone in
Novi, Michigan (41550 Grand River Ave, Novi MI 48375, 248-374-0500) to
participate in 8 straight hours of soccer to raise money for the Novoa
family and Small Cell Ovarian Cancer research. Participants are asked to
seek sponsorship from family, friends, colleagues or anyone else that wants
to contribute to this extremely worthy cause (see attached registration form).

Participant Guidelines:
Each playing participant is required to collect and submit a minimum of
$25 sponsorship in order to participate in playing on the field.

New Blog To Pimp

There is a new link for you people to follow. I just got wind that there is a new sheriff in town and he lives in G-Vegas. His name is Shep and he’s the man and new added writer to Poker and Liquor. Shep is the unsung hero of the G-Vegas crew and I’m sure they will all tell you that if you were ever in a rumble that Shep would be the man you would want on your side. So without further ado, I present the man, the myth, no…dare I say the Legend, SHEP
