Yes, I have closed down my blog for a while. But this is where I pimp other people and their events.

First, I wanted to pimp the fight against cancer tournament. Mr. Easycure is one of the nicest guys in bloggerville and just a class act (don’t hold it against him because his Seahawks blew chunks in the Super Bowl…cough!cough!) and has dedicated himself to ridding the world of cancer. We have all been affected by this disease and as we know it doesn’t discriminate on race, age, sex, or sexual orientation. With that being said, come joint the fun.

The second thing I wanted to bring to your attention is a personal battle that Bobby Bracelet has taken up. Yes, the person who hates everything and everyone has taken up a cause for a friend who has passed and her still living daughter. Of course The Rooster gets all chocked up when writing about this stuff so I will just pass you along to his site and the story by clicking here and you can see where to donate here also: Bobby Bracelet

The 1st Annual Celebration of the Life of Natasha Novoa And The
Fight Against Small Cell Ovarian Cancer

Natasha Novoa was a 29 year old single mother of a beautiful 2 ½ year
old girl named Peyton and lived in Richmond Hill which is a suburb
just north of Toronto, Canada. She has a younger brother and sister,
Jesse and Noelle, and her parents are Jose and Laura. In December of
2005, Natasha was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of Small Cell
Ovarian Cancer and early hopes were that this disease could be controlled
with Radiation and Chemotherapy treatments.

What Is It?

On April 29, 2006 from 4pm until midnight we will gather at SoccerZone in
Novi, Michigan (41550 Grand River Ave, Novi MI 48375, 248-374-0500) to
participate in 8 straight hours of soccer to raise money for the Novoa
family and Small Cell Ovarian Cancer research. Participants are asked to
seek sponsorship from family, friends, colleagues or anyone else that wants
to contribute to this extremely worthy cause (see attached registration form).

Participant Guidelines:
Each playing participant is required to collect and submit a minimum of
$25 sponsorship in order to participate in playing on the field.
